Fall Concert

It’s almost time for the Fall Choir Concert on October 12! This concert is going to be a good one you will definitely not want to miss. Now the choir is very different and improved from last year’s choir with three new freshmen in the Concert Choir, but over the last two years there has been an overall 38-student increase in the program. If you know, the choir theme last year was Masterpiece, we need all of our voices to complete the choir, otherwise, it won’t sound the same.

This year the theme Mrs. Pyle has chosen for the choir to represent is Ignite, “with our choir flames ablaze, we can light the embers of other students that may just need a little fuel to find their fire in choir.”

Of course though, the thing most people come to see at a concert are the songs. The song selection for this concert is very upbeat and on theme, with Concert Choir performing foreign pieces like “Soon Ah Will Be Done,” and on theme pieces like “Fire,” from the movie “Elementals,” as well as the Cantus Choir (Men’s Choir) singing foreign songs such as “O Salutaris,” and the Bel Canto (Women’s Choir) singing their on theme song “Fire and Ice.”

This concert is going to be LIT! (pun intended)

About the Contributor
Aaron Coleman, Newspaper
My name is Aaron, and as it's my last year here. I hope it is as good as everyone says senior year is. I'm hoping to go into film production and make movies as a career, especially because creating stories is something I enjoy doing in my own time just as a way to pass the time. I decided to take the newspaper class as a more chill experience and because I enjoy writing whether it's my own story or someone else's. I'm also involved with both Cantus and Concert Choir so the stories are bound to be good from them.
