On Thursday, Feb. 14, it was Valentines Day. Which means that love is in the air as couples all around the world will be surprising their special someone with flowers, chocolate and other small gifts. Valentine’s Day is a day used to express love to someone special in your life and show them how much they mean to you, using a nice gesture. Last month the Marshfield High School held a matchmaking event for the students who attended. On Monday, Feb. 11, the results came in. During lunch students had the option to pay the $4 fee to get their results to see who they matched with. Junior student Alexis Warren said, “I thought my matches were really interesting and surprising.”
