While most teachers at Marshfield stay teaching in the same building, many paraprofessionals have moved around from building to building over the years, or even stopped teaching and then came back after some time. That’s the case for Margot Hyder. She’s worked in the district for 8-9 years total, but stepped back and substituted for a while before deciding to come back this school year.
As a paraprofessional, a major part of her job consists of going into classrooms to help out students and making sure they understand the material depending on the class they’re in, she also works as a substitute occasionally when needed.
Hyder initially moved to Marshfield with her family 9-10 years ago and wanted to become more involved with her friends’ kids and the school district, which led to her becoming a paraprofessional.
She also really enjoys travelling, and spending time with her family in her free time.
