Parker paddles past personal record
The swim season has nearly come to an end. Last weekend on Oct. 25, our own Parker Cantrell, junior, competed at the “Last Chance” meet in Monett. Cantrell beat various personal records. He beat the 100 butterfly record as well as the 100 backstroke record by shaving off a full second from his personal record and did a great job representing Marshfield High School.
Regarding his performance, Cantrell thought, “Achieving this motivates me to do better next year.”
He also stated that his ranks, “pretty high on the list” of personal achievements. “It’s the most recognizable achievement I have made.”
Cantrell heads to State this Thursday and we wish him the best of luck!
