Remington Richerson, Writer

As the weather is getting colder, leaves are more colorful and fall is swinging into full effect. Marshfield is brimming with excitement. Friday, Oct. 13, students and their parents throughout Marshfield are heading to Gunter Farms for their annual pumpkin patch. The event is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is $5 per child and a parent or guardian must accompany their children at no additional cost.

While attending this event, Marshfield residents will see many attractions. Gunter Farms has a barrel train, giant sling shot, hayrides, pumpkins, firepits, barn games, hay bale mazes, snack shack and the opportunity to get close up and personal with the dairy cows living on the farm year round. Corn stalk bundles, pumpkins, gourds, straw, fall decor and snacks and drinks will be available.

Everyone should have a spook-tacular time!

Directions: Take Exit 113 at Conway off of I-44. Go west on Hwy Y, 5 miles, turn right onto Hwy WW, and you’ll arrive at the farm in one mile.
