The Big 8 District Basketball games are coming up for the Class 4 District 11 basketball teams. The games will be held at Logan-Rogersville for the 2018-2019 school year. Eight teams will be competing in the tournament. The first district game will be for the boys basketball team and will be Monday, Feb. 25, at 6:00pm. The team they are playing still has to be decided.

The first district game for the girls team will be Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1:00pm and the team for this game still has to be decided as well.

“The host of the district game is decided by an AD vote through the district,” said Ronda Hubbard, athletic director.

The teams are consisting of Aurora, Hillcrest, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, Reed Springs and West Plains for both the girls and boys teams.

The record of the boys varsity basketball teams right now are:

Marshfield (13-11)

Aurora (3-18)

Hillcrest (6-14)

Logan-Rogersville (18-5)

Reed Springs (5-17)

West Plains (19-4)

 

The record of the girls varsity basketball teams right now are:

Marshfield (6-15)

Aurora (6-16)

Hillcrest (3-11)

Logan-Rogersville (18-7)

Reed Springs (10-13)

West Plains (15-9)

The winner of the district tournament will go on to compete other district winners at state. The state games are scheduled to start Tuesday, March 5, for the boy’s and girl’s basketball team and continue through Saturday, March 16.
