Lady Jays soccer with a week of wins

Lady Jays started the week with a make up game against New Covenant on Monday, April 23. The game was Varsity only at New Covenant at 5 p.m. Lady Jays won 1-0, game winning goal by junior, Kennedy Deckard.

Lady Jays back in action Tuesday, April 24, night against Aurora. The game was held at home, with a half of JV to start and Varsity to follow. Varsity defeated Aurora 2-0. Goals by juniors Leiken Barton and Maci Huff.

“I was so excited! It was great to be able to put together those passes like we have been practicing! I think it’s crazy that we only have a few games left. I feel like we just started last week,” said Huff.

Lady Jays return to the field against McDonald County Thursday night, April 26. The game was originally scheduled to be away, but due to bad field conditions at McDonald county the game was moved home. JV started the games with one half, but were unsuccessful for a win. Varsity beat McDonald County 3-0 with two goals by juniors Leiken Barton and Maci Huff.
