39 students from Marshfield High School were inducted into National Honor Society (NHS) on Monday, March 26.

The night opened with senior John Gray welcoming the crowd and saying the pledge, senior Katie French singing the National Anthem and then senior Lane Williams saying a prayer. President of NHS, Katie French, introduced the NHS senior officers: Vice President Grace Tibbs, Parliamentarian Savannah Clair, Historian/Public Relations Emma Tibbs, Treasurer Zoe Bisby and Secretary Emily Wipf.

Williams, seniors Wyatt Greer, Kaden Freeman, Hannah Robinson, Shannon Jester and Yasmine Thomas described the qualities an NHS student should have. Then the inductions began.

Following the inductions Gray led the new members in the NHS Pledge. Mrs. Smith congratulated the families and the members on their achievements and French closed the ceremony. Cake, cookies and punch were offered in the cafeteria after the ceremony where the new members talked and laughed with their family and friends.
