The Lebanon Yellowjackets started the season out with 0-2 as Marshfield High School entered their school. The Yellowjackets came off a loss to the Nixa Eagles while MHS was coming off of a win to Bentonville, Arkansas.

When the game started, neither team could get a lead past seven. They were both scoring throughout the entire game, making it a close call. The Jays went on to win 60-55. The Yellowjackets are now 0-3 and MHS is 4-1, only losing to Forsyth.

Austin Porter is hopeful for the team saying, “I think we can win districts.”

It looks like the Blue Jays basketball team are on their way to a bright future.
