Different Final, Different Year

Destin Schroeder, Writer

It’s getting close to students “favorite” time of the year, finals. This year the finals themselves will be the same, but the duration of them has changed. For these finals students will be using the same bell schedule as usual, taking their tests in their even number classes. Then the next day they will use the normal bell schedule and take their finals in their odd numbered classes. And it switches back and forth until the last day before Winter break. The last day will be a half-day and students will be released at 12:45 p.m. They will be finishing their odd numbered classes on this day. When Marshfield High School principal Jeff Curley was asked how effective he thinks the new schedule will be, he replied “I won’t know until the next semester, but it’s temporary.”
