Marshfield is going retro with a new arcade place located at the square. Senior Landon Fraker, who runs the new arcade, Retrozone, says, “We wanted to give the kids in Marshfield something to do because there’s hardly any options.”

Fraker also mentions why the store was opened, “This has been something my dad and I have been wanting to do for awhile and it’s something pretty cool to do.”

Retrozone has many different games from the 80’s and up to the early 2000’s with the GameCube.

Fraker wants to expand the place to make it bigger and put more arcade games and newer game systems in for the future. Retrozone is a great place to go for anyone like if, “you’re [an] adult and want to play the arcade games from your childhood.”  Retrozone grand opening was on March 10, 2018.

It is $5 to get in at Retrozone and snacks and drinks are also sold. It’s opened from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday to Thursday. Then on Friday and Saturday it’s open from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Retrozone will also be having a pinball tournament April 21, so come and watch it or be in it if you can handle it.
