We have a new staff member that isn’t a teacher. Dustin Jones is our new Process Coordinator here at the High School. Process Coordinators work with the special education department to make sure they have all the proper paperwork for IEPS and 504s as well as help parents with the process.
Jones has spent 10 years working in education, having spent the past 9 years teaching special education classes.
“I wanted to do a job where I could feel like I was doing the world some good and not just collecting paychecks. So I settled on teaching because I thought this is where I could make the most impact,” Jones said.
Outside of school he’s been raising cattle for 7 years. He raises beef cattle and also runs a cow-calf operation. “They have names and they are part of the family!” he added.
Jones chose to work at Marshfield as he lives close by and wanted to work within the community.
“I also have a kid now and I wanted to see where he was going to be going to school. So I wanted to get a feel for Marshfield before I sent him here and I’ve been very pleased and very happy with the school system here.” Jones added
