MESA Club

Marshfield High School’s very own MESA club is a horse club, with a main goal to educate students about horsemanship and different disciplines of riding. The club members love anything that is horse related. They participate in many different activities, such as trail rides, obstacle courses and clinics. Club members also volunteer their time and fund raise for different organizations such as Human Society Hurricane Relief and other organizations.

Kim Fields, a science teacher here at MHS, is the leader of the club and she said, “Our biggest trip is the AQHA World Show in Oklahoma City. We watch the best in each discipline of riding perform for the world title.”

MESA was supposed to take a trip to a farm on Wednesday, Jan. 30, but due to weather issues and school being cancelled, their trip was cancelled as well.
