A Fun Fundraiser

On Nov. 10, the Spanish Club held a Hat Day fundraiser to help Puerto Rico, which had been hit by F5 Hurricane María. This insane tragedy unfortunately killed 900 people.

“The Spanish Club students and I felt extremely humbled and honored to organize a Hat Day to collect donations for such a cause,” stated Mrs. Forge, the Spanish teacher and club leader.

Students were charged $2 to wear a school appropriate hat for the day. At the end of the day, he Spanish Club raised $270, all going to Puerto Rico funds. Right now there is a rebuilding process and prayers are needed.
