After 10 years at MHS, history teacher and girl’s wrestling coach Adam Wright finished his last year of teaching this past spring. This school year we have a new teacher taking his place, that teacher is Truett Gardner.
Alongside teaching world history and American history, Gardner is also the freshman offensive coordinator, as well as the head tight end coach for the football team.
This is also his first year teaching, having done his student teaching here at MHS last fall with Matthew Holt. He is most excited to see what it’s like here in the spring.
When asked why he chose to work at MHS, Gardner stated, “I grew up here. I have lived here my entire life, and I love it so much I don’t ever want to leave.”
Outside of teaching he enjoys watching movies with his fiance, particularly Sci-Fi and scary movies. He also likes to go hunting and fishing.
