Every year Marshfield usually has at least one foreign exchange student. While we had three exchange students last year, this year we have one, Agnese Luvisotti.
Luvisotti is a junior from Italy who’s spent the past few months here at Marshfield. She decided to join the foreign exchange program because she started traveling abroad when she was 7 and wanted to continue.
She said that she likes it here at Marshfield and as she put it “I knew that your school was more fun.” She also mentioned enjoying all 3 of Kimberly Totten’s classes that she is taking.
Luvisotti joined the track team this year. This is her first time doing the sport since there weren’t any sports back at her school in Italy. Students who do participate in sports don’t do it through the school but as club sports instead.
She described Italy as “more serious and school is pretty much just about learning. We have different kinds of schools so you pick based on your interests and your abilities.”
