‘Tis the season for the finals

Morgan Wilkerson

Finals are coming up and for many people that means studying and stress. The students and teachers at MHS have their tips and tricks for studying and managing stress to make it through finals successfully.

We talked to: senior Madison Phillips, sophomores Kylee Lyall and Alexa Brewster, and science teacher Kimberly Totten.

Do you have any advice for freshmen?

Phillips: “If you have any questions ask.”

Lyall: “It’s not as hard as you think once you get settled in.”

Brewster: “Try to avoid people as much as possible.”

Totten: “Study your notes.”

What final test is the easiest?

Brewster: yearbook

Lyall: English

What final test is the hardest?

All: Math

For those who are struggling, what are 2 suggestions you would give on how to manage the stress?

Lyall: They should talk to someone they can trust and drink water.

Totten: Exercise and study beforehand
