Midwest Cold Front

Destin Schroeder, Writer

On Tuesday, Jan. 29, a major cold front hit the Midwest of the United States. Temperatures have dropped between the low 20’s to negative 65 degrees, with windchill included. The coldness, with the help of some snow, has kept many schools throughout the Midwest from having classes. Here in Marshfield, school was cancelled on Wednesday, Jan. 30 due to the weather. Most people are happy about the small break from school.

“I like getting to sleep in and not having to wake up early to go to school.” That was junior student, Abbi Delfante on how she felt about not having school. Although the cold front seems to be clearing up somewhat, it’s still very vivid in everyone’s minds.
