Boys Basketball Game vs Rogersville

There was a boys basketball game against Rogersville on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Freshman, JV and varsity all played. The theme for Loud Crowd was black. Students brought props and it was like a game of Pac-Man. Freshman Jade Anderson said, “Being a part of Loud crowd is super fun. I love dressing up to cheer on our team.”

The JV game won by three. The game was super close throughout the whole game. Within the last minute freshman Peyton Mcbride got fouled and was able to make both of the free throw shots. This put the JV team ahead enough to win the game without any trouble.

The varsity game started off with Marshfield ahead, but only by a few points. Rogersville then stepped their game up in the second quarter. They ended up beating Marshfield 33-62.  Freshman Peyton McBride stated that, “We played our best, even though we lost I think we put up a good fight.”
