On Thurs. September 27, the Marshfield High School volleyball team traveled to Rogersville to compete for a win. It was hard fought game for being so one sided, as Rogersville won in two sets. The Jays had stretches to where it looked like they would come back, but fell just short in the end. Freshman Baylee Cottengim said, “The girls put out an outstanding defense, for playing such a high leveled volleyball team.” For playing a team that is 14-1 they did a very good job. Cottengim also said “You can tell they always are wanting to give their all.” She believes the improvement of this group is outstanding.
