With bouncing their way out of a another season girl’s basketball comes to an official end for the season. The girls basketball team had recently had their banquet on March 28, 2018.

Senior Zoe Bisby commented on how her season was for her and her team, “This season was definitely an improvement from last year. We had a winning season this year and even though we did not make it to the district championships I would not have changed this crew for anyone different. We played like more of a team then I had seen in a while and it was probably the most fun of a season I have had in basketball. It makes me emotional to think about the little ones and them growing up into the players I know they can be. I love my team and I am so glad I got to spend my last year with this group.”

Bisby also commented, “The banquet was great. Coach Jones always does a really great job and it turned out really great.”

Everyone at the banquet had a good time and laughed with their basketball teammates about the season that had come to a close. Now with the seniors leaving, juniors and the lower classmen have some shoes to fill for the girls basketball team.

Now that basketball is over, there are spring sports happening so come and support your fellow Bluejays.
