Lane Williams Vehicle Clinic

On Saturday, March 17, senior Lane Williams put on a basic vehicle maintenance clinic where community members could come and learn how to do simple maintenance tasks on their vehicles for free. This event was held for Williams’ senior project.

When asked why he chose this for his senior project, Williams replied, “I chose this project because I have grown up working on my own vehicles and my dad and grandpa before me did as well, so I often take for granted the fact that others do not have the knowledge or skills to perform maintenance tasks.”

Williams comments on how the event turned out that day, “The event ran quite well, There were several professional mechanics from area shops who volunteered their time to workstations. Turnout was very low due to cold weather, but the people who came loved it and learned a lot.”

This was one of the many great ideas for senior projects for the class of 2018.
