On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Marshfield JayWalkers competed in the Sugar Bear Invitational in Springfield, Missouri and placed 5th in Hip-Hop and 4th in mix. The JayWalker squad has worked very hard all season by performing at various home basketball games to get to this point.

Sophomore JayWalker member Daphne Boggs shared what she thought on her team’s overall performance, “I am proud of my team and how well we stuck together this year, but regarding our placement I am not proud to think that we weren’t able to beat some of the other schools in our division.”

JayWalker coach Cassie Lowe also shared, “I’m proud of this group and everything they did this season and I know they can’t wait to get back next year.”

There will definitely be motivation next season to work even harder in able to rank higher for the next years Sugar Bear Invitational.
