And Then There Were Two

This Sunday, Feb. 8, the two remaining NFL teams will clash in Minnesota for Super Bowl LII. The two remaining teams are the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. For the Patriots this will be a familiar game for them as they are the reigning champs from last season and have paved their way to many playoff appearances in the last two decades.

Sophomore Abbi Delfante gave her input on who she wants to take home the title. “The Eagles, they haven’t done anything like that for a long time and they earned the spot they’re in. They deserve it.”

This isn’t the first time that these two teams have met head to head in the big game. In 2005 they faced each other for Super bowl XXXIX where the New England Patriots came away with the victory by the score of 24-21.

Obviously, this game will be much different due to new players and the NFL evolving, but the Eagles definitely have more pressure on them with the city and teams’ thirst for vengeance against the undeniable favorites, the New England Patriots.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
