The Photographic Society had their first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 9 after school. The club starts at 3:10 and ends at 4:30 in Jennifer Glenn’s classroom. Glenn teaches art as well as photography and is the sponsor of the club.  

The first few meetings they worked on the homecoming float, but more recently they have been focusing more on pictures. One of the meetings included creating shirts for the club and taking “ghostly pictures which was so cool,” freshman Mackenzie Phillips comments.

The meeting on Jan. 9 the club worked on hot glue templates.

Phillips explains taking pictures is in her blood.“I have always loved taking pictures. My moms a photographer and I’ve just grown up with it.I’m really happy there’s a club for it.”

Meetings are every first and last Tuesday of the month.The next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018. Anyone can join by showing up to the meetings.
