Freshman and Varsity boys basketball teams won 5th place in recent tournaments that went from Nov. 28 – Dec. 2. Varsity’s tournament was in Forsyth while the Freshman competed in Rogersville. Unfortunately, both teams lost their first game which was against Forsyth, who went on to win both tournaments.

“It wasn’t’ our best game,” Coach Sieger said.

In the second game, Varsity went on to play Hollister and won against them 55-49. In the Freshman’s second game, they played Mt. Vernon and beat them 58-38. During the consolation game, for 5th place, the Freshman went on to hit 7 threes in that game and beat the Reeds Spring 56-44. Varsity beat the Barryville Arkansas 56-41.
