The Diaper Drive

Irene Smith, Writer

The Marshfield High School Diaper Drive has been taking place in the counselor’s office from Oct. 30 through Dec. 8. The Diaper Drive is a fundraiser to help the moms within the school whom can’t afford to buy the things they need.

The diaper drive is suppose to help provide the pregnant girls in our school with supplies they need,” Allison Brinkley, sophomore, says on the purpose of the diaper drive. “Donations are brought into the school and are turned into the counselor’s office.”

Brinkley started this fundraiser to help care for the students and their children. Students can bring donations, such as diapers, into the counselor’s office and the moms or soon to be moms can pick up supplies from there. She encourages everyone to help out.

Please help support MHS students by bringing in anything like diapers and wipes to the counselor’s office through Dec. 8.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Amanda Badgett started the drive.
