There was a Speech and Debate on Friday and Saturday on Nov. 17 and 18. Four people from the school placed. Senior Rihanna Alexander placed third in Big Questions, Grace Heisler placed second in Dramatic Interpretation and Storytelling, Vanessa Lampley placed second in Public Form and Payton Pickel placed second in Humorous Interpretation.

Freshman Grace Heisler commented, “It was a fun tournament, but it was long. There were a lot of talented people there. I thought I did a pretty good. I’m going to work harder to get first at the next tournament.” Kevin King, the Speech and Debate coach, said “I’m proud of my students for how they did.”
