Senior Wyatt Greer solving the Rubik cube

On Fridays after school the Rubik’s cube club meets up to solve what some think are an unsolvable colorful cube. The club was started last year by senior, class of 2017, Rianna Gardner. Math teachers Andrea Lee and Stacy Robinson are the advisers of the club.

Among the members are senior Wyatt Greer who says he started getting into rubik’s cubes “because I wanted more and more of a challenge for my brain. It is nice to go and chill out with other dorks…. I enjoy watching people try to solve one because it is like trying to watch someone bake a cake without an oven.”

Unfortunately the club is struggling to stay afloat.

“There is still interest from students, but they have not had a meeting where more than two students have shown up.” said Robinson.

So if you have an interest in colorful cubes and solving puzzles then go to Robinson’s room after school on Fridays to join the club!
